The department has 13 operating rooms that cater to General Surgery, OBG, ENT, Oro-maxillo-facial surgery, Neurosurgery and Cardiac surgery. The postoperative icu is located in the same complex.
Anaesthesia services are also provided at the Casualty/ Trauma Centre, Ophthalmology, Radiology angiocath room, Cardiology angiography room.. The department performs conventional general anaesthesia, spinal/ epidural blocks,nerve blocks with nerve locators,Fibre optic bronchoscopic intubation etc. All operating rooms have capabilities of routine monitoring under anaesthesia including invasive haemodynamic monitoring and anaesthetic agent monitoring when required.
Pain Clinic Services are also being given in the department.Department also runs Multidisciplinary ICU's (MICU/SICU) equipped with state of the art ventilators, multiparameter patient monitors.
